I got word last night that the first scientific paper on which I am an author has been officially accepted for publication by the Annals of the Entomological Society of America. Woo-hoo!

It is a review of the Xyleborina (Coleoptera: Curculionidae: Scolytinae) beetles of North America that includes illustrated species keys. The online version of these keys can be viewed, complete with my SEMs and additional light microscope images, here.

Now I just need to be patient waiting for the page proofs!
